The photo series Þorskur evokes depictions of angelic forms and features but is in fact photographs of a boiled cod skeleton, which the title also indicates: Þorskur means cod in Icelandic. The cod was caught by Kaja herself in the river Skjálfandafljót at a trip to Iceland and then turned into the main element of the project.
Þorskur was part of an exhibition in the North-Icelandic city Húsavíkurhöfn in October 2013.
